CALHOUN PD’S K9 UNIT VISITS THE FOUNTAINS: On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Calhoun Police Department was invited to The Fountains to meet with residents and share information about the CPD’s K9 program. Officers had the pleasure of introducing K9s Dug and Logan, who quickly became the stars of the visit.
Residents enjoyed the opportunity to interact with both dogs and learn about the vital roles they play in law enforcement and community engagement. From narcotics detection to school safety, the CPD’s K9s are an essential part of the department’s mission to serve and protect.
“We’re grateful to The Fountains for the warm welcome and opportunity to spend time with their residents,” said Chief Tony Pyle. “These visits help build strong relationships between our officers and the community, and it’s always a pleasure to showcase the important work our K9s do.”
