Calhoun City Council Meeting Alert: First Budget hearing for the 2025-2026 fiscal year is coming up on May 12th. The meeting starts at 6p.m. at the Depot.
Gordon County Board of Commissioners Meeting is on May 6th at 6p.m. with the work session beginning at 5 – Some of the items will be the county’s FY Budget Reading; also an important update on the Ranger Community Center.
The banners are up for KCGB roll-off recycling project at all Gordon County Compactor Sites. This program can mitigate up to 80% of your household waste. Funded with a grant that KCGB received from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, the program will measure how much of the gathered material is recycled. Please remember, your family’s contribution to recycling matters to all of us.
Two important cancer screenings are being hosted by Advent Health Gordon
