Public Service Commission Districts 2 and 3 Special Primary Election June 17

Atlanta — Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has issued the following call for Special Election to be held November 4th, 2025, for Public Service Commission Districts 2 and 3.

“Notice is hereby given that a Special Election shall be held on November 4, 2025, for Public Service Commission, Districts 2 and 3. A Special Primary preceding the Special Election shall be held on June 17, 2025. A Special Primary Runoff, if needed, shall be held on July 15, 2025. A Special Election Runoff, if needed, shall be held on December 2, 2025.

Candidate Qualifying for the Special Primary and Special Election shall be Tuesday, April 1, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday April 2, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 12:00 p.m. Political party candidates qualifying for the Special Primary shall be held in Room 216 of the State Capitol Building. Qualifying for all other candidates for the Special Election shall be held at 2 MLK, Jr. Dr., West Tower, Suite 802. The qualifying fee shall be $3,934.71.

Monday, May 19, 2025, is the last day to register to vote for all persons who are not registered to vote and who desire to vote in the Special Primary. Advance in-person absentee voting will begin on May 27, 2025.

Monday, October 6, 2025, is the last day to register to vote for all persons who are not registered to vote and who desire to vote in the Special Election. Advance in-person absentee voting will begin on October 14, 2025.”
