Jonathan Isaiah Rivas Reyna Gone Too Soon, Forever in Our Hearts

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Isaiah Rivas Reyna, whose bright spirit was taken too soon. Jonathan was a beloved son, brother, and friend, with a future full of promise.

Born into a loving family, Jonathan was the second youngest of seven siblings. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Maria Del Carmen Reyna, and his father, Alex Rivas. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Esdras, Crystal, Alex, Jr., Giovanni, Jasmin, and Nathalie, along with many extended family members and friends who cherished him dearly.

Jonathan was very caring and humble, with so much love to give. He loved spending time with his parents and family, always bringing warmth and joy to those around him.

A passionate sports fan, Jonathan cheered on his favorite teams—the Los Angeles Lakers, Baltimore Ravens, Real Madrid, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Whether watching a game with loved ones or proudly wearing his team’s colors, his love for sports was undeniable.

Jonathan’s kindness, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Though his time with us was short, the impact he made will last a lifetime.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 3 PM until 9 PM at Thomas Funeral Home, also followed by a home viewing on April 4, 2025 at 3 PM at the Rivas Residence at 3976 Rome Road, Plainville, GA 30733.

A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate the life of Jonathan will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Clements Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with brothers, cousins, and brothers-in-law serving as pallbearers.
